Hi,
I would be grateful for any advice anyone could give me please.
Sister in law lives in Pakistan & works as a Government school teacher there, has a long service & will be eligible for a pension in another 5 years due to being a civil servant.
My sister in law applied twice to visit us in the UK on a family visitor visa back in 2015 - rejected both times.
We then applied from our end in the UK as we really needed help with the upcoming birth of our daughter & also for her to see our son whom she had never seen before. Again although we addressed all objections with evidence it seems they didn't even bother to read the evidences.
They rejected based on her having a few unexplained payments into one of her accounts for £1500 / £2000 (from myself & also from her Father from the sale of crops), also on the basis that she is single. (She is divorced & does not wish to remarry anywhere due to her first experience)
It seems to me that the fact that she is single makes them think that she wont return.
She owns 2 plots of land there and the fact that she will throw her pension away would make a rational person think that she will return?
Also her parents visited us a couple of years before & returned in good time. They had a nonsense excuse as to having no evidence that she lives with them so I even sent them photos of her with them holding up a current dated newspaper - This had no effect as I don't believe they even look at evidence as we got the same generic rejection again. Surely they can look & see that when her parents visited they applied from the same home address in Pakistan?
We would once again love for her to be able to visit us as our son is now 5 and our daughter 2. Am i going to just waste my money?
Many thanks for any advice given in advance.
