Family Fall Out

Post by Russell59 » Mon Oct 16, 2017 7:30 am

I am Married to a Belarus Lady,i am a British Citizen. We married in Minsk in April, and i sent in her application for spouse Visa on August 1st 2017.Since then i have had major problem with my Sister over a Money Issue. My Sister has informed me that she has reported my Marriage as a Sham Marriage, but this is not the case, she is simply doing this out of bitterness and malice..because i was left an inheritance and she got nothing.I am very worried that she will do as much as she can to try and stop my Wife from joining me here in the UK..Can anyone offer me any advice as to what will happen ?..i think my Wife should be granted her visa end of October as on the 27th of October it will have been 60 Days since her application.I am frantic with worry that my Sister has ruined my Wifes application for her Spouse Visa..any advice very welcome.I am going out of my mind with worry over this.

Give members the time to respond. You first posted this morning at 7.30 am when people were likely to be busy with family/travelling to work etc.

The HO won't just take your sister's word for the allegation, and assuming you've submitted compelling evidence of a genuine relationship you shouldn't have anything to worry about.

We submitted all Receipts for Hotels,Air Tickets,Plus everything that was requested for Application, and before we sent application we had it checked through by an Agency in Minsk who said it was all good..guess i am just worrying about nothing, but it is really stressing us both out..The waiting period and my Sisters allegations.

The ECO will want to see evidence of how you keep in touch while apart and photographs of time you have spent together. Did you include these :?:

Yes, we sent Photos of the Wedding, also Photos of us when we met up before the Wedding,Photos of me with my wife and her Family,Wedding Certificate Copy..lots of screen shots and print outs of our viber and Skype conversations and e mails.I hope this is enough.Owing to Work Commitments and acting as Carer for my Late Mother i was unable to travel as frequently as we both wished. My Wife does not earn a good wage,so it was impossible for Her to travel to the UK..so we used to meet up in Riga and Vilnius.Do you think it will be enough ? for ECO ?.
