URGENT.. Travelling to India, daughter's indian passport expiring 1 month

Hi Admins

I am travelling to INDIA FROM UK with my 5 year old daugther on 19th october and returning in first week of NOVEMBER.
My daughters passport expires in 18th DECEMBER 2017.

Will I have any issues travelling to india ?

Airline / Booking agent is saying my daughter needs 6 months validity to travel.

Please advice on urgent issue.
