Which application for UK Permanent Residence after EEA2?

Post by cib24 » Wed Oct 18, 2017 11:42 am

I have been on a EEA2 under my wife for 5 years whom has a EU passport and also has her own UK Permanent Residence Card. It is now time for me to apply for my UK Permanent Residence card. I just want to confirm which application I need to submit. Is it:

EEA (FM) (https://www.gov.uk/apply-for-a-uk-residence-card/apply)

or

EEA (PR) (https://www.gov.uk/government/publicati ... orm-eea-pr)

?

I presume it is EEA (PR) but want to be sure as the application is older than the EEA (FM) but the EEA (PR) specifies permanent residence and to be completed if your next desire is British Citizenship at a future date.

Can someone clarify which I should be filling out?

Thank you.

EEA (PR) if you want to apply for citizenship in the future.

Hi, I should probably know this already, but what's the difference between an EEA FM card & and EEA PR card, if you're applying after 5 years of residency in the UK, as a Non-EEA national of an EEA-National family member that has permanent residency in the UK>
