BRP

Post by missblissbear » Thu Nov 02, 2017 4:30 pm

Some help please?

I got my first spouse visa issued at the beginning of 2015.... I had biometrics done for it.... but it wasn't the BRP that those people got issued after April 2015.

I have my premium appointment on Monday for my FLR (M) and thought biometrics would be done then... then I saw somewhere say I may need to get them done at the post office?

Can someone confirm? Do I go to my premium appointment Monday and if successful they will send me for biometrics then?

Your biometric enrollment is part of your in person appointment process and will be done at the premium centre.

5. Passports – Me x 2 (Current and previously used), Hubby x 2 British and Australian, Child 1 x 2 British and Australian and Child 2 x 2 British and Australian.
Australian passports are NOT needed. They are irrelevant to your application in the UK.
8. Letter from (Neighbour) confirming relationship and friendship
Not needed.
9. 4 photos from Facebook posts over last 2 years, copy of a txt message from Husband to me.
Why are you submitting this? It is not needed for a spouse visa extension.
27. Personal letter from friend about proof of family life….support, helping her special needs kids and friendship.
Not needed.

Please can someone assist... I am trying to do the adequate Maintenance on just my husbands income and the benefits he receives (DLA for our son) I'm heading to the premium centre Monday 9am so trying to go over everything for the millionth time to make sure its all correct... I am finding it extremely difficult as i am self employed to get all they are asking for as because i am self employed... the council factors this into everything and name me as employed on their documents...But the Section 7B - Maintenance asks if i am working in the UK... I'm not going to get in trouble am i marking it NO so i don't have to give all the extra stuff for my income? I will take everything i have and produce it if they ask ...(My work is legal, i hold a current licene to trade... But its a cash in cash out basis so dont really use a bank account for it... and to present i have just done my own books and the business i run is only 1 1/2 year old.) So if i can do this just on my husbands income it will be easier...then next year i will just get an accountant to do my book work to make it easier next time i apply.
Using just my husband we have:

A= wage and benefit £1927
minus B=Rent and council tax paid £686.16
remaining = £1240.95

It is my husband, myself and our 2 children. One who has special needs... we receive benefits in my husbands name... my wage is factored to work out benefits but i don't receive them.

Visa Granted today.... Solihull Premium service.

Post by missblissbear » Mon Nov 06, 2017 5:18 pm

Thanks to all that advised and listened over the last couple of months... My Visa was granted today.

Had my appointment today.... was soooo nervous.

Arrived at 8.40am for my 9am appointment, they had trouble with their tickets not printing... got seen about 9.30am... then biometrics done by 10.15am.... walked across the road and waited till about 11.30am got the call to come back. Lovely letter on the top... approved on the 5 year route.

So glad that is over for another 30 months.

Good luck to all those waiting.

I am British citizen. My wife is on spouse visa (2nd Visa for 2.5 years) and will apply for ILR in Sep 2019.
I have a child 2 years old who is disable. And Health visitor said that you should apply for disability living allowance.
My son is also British by birth as he was born in UK while I was on ILR that time.
I want to know if I apply for ILR for my wife in 2019 would DLA would affect her visa.
My income is £30K and I am in full time employment.
Second question is if I get DLA and still not want income exemption.
Third my wife can apply for carer or attendance allowance on spouse visa.
