T4 Dependant Application Query

Post by SaddyUK123 » Sun Oct 22, 2017 1:48 pm

Hello All,

I'm applying for T4 Dependant in the UK. My wife has started Uni from 20/09/2017.

I requested for letter from the India bank (as I have half of the funds in my indian bank account) to confirm the funds in the account for consecutive 28 days and I received the letter yesterday (21/10/2017). I also got the statement from the Bank in the UK (the remaining half of the funds) yesterday (21/10/2017)

I submitted my application today (22/10/2017) and I applied for the Premium Service Visa (1 day processing time). After I made the payment, the next available appointment is on 18/11/2017 :(.

My questions are:

1. Since the letter from bank date (21/10/2017) and appointment date (18/11/2017) has 30 days difference - Do I have to request the bank to provide another statement / letter? or this would be enough?

2. When I checked the guidance document, I found the below

Letter from your bank confirming funds have been held for a
consecutive 28 day period ending no more than 31 days before the
date of your application. Your letter from a bank or building society
must show:

What does the above me?

Can I request you to help me to understand will there be any problem with the statement dated 21/10/2017?

Thanks,
Sad

First, the "date of application" is 22 October 2017 not 18 November 2017.

Second, check what is Day 28 of the 28 day period when you have held the funds across both bank accounts. This is the date that must be no more than 31 days before the date of application.

The international student adviser at your spouse's university may be able to double-check your dates with you.
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.
