Spouse Visitor Visa ( Self Employed)

Post by kuts » Tue Oct 24, 2017 5:37 pm

All,

In my previous post I have been posting some queries regarding spouse visa for the settlement.

Due to some issues in my Ltd company accounts I have decided to go for the Visitor visa for my wife and is it possible to apply for a visitor visa now and then after six months can I apply for my spouse settlement visa please advise.
If its possible for the visitor visa what's the process Involved in it.

Thanks

Are you aware that your wife will be unable to apply for a Spouse Settlement visa while in the UK as a visitor :?:

To stand any chance of obtaining a visitor visa she will have submit strong evidence of ties to her home country, This may be a tough challenge when she has a husband living in the UK.

I have got friends, they are living in Russia: she is British and he is Russian. Even in this case, he is struggling to get a visitor visa, even though his wife lives with him in Russia. So, in your case there is a very high chase of being refused for a visitor visa. You may be better off waiting until the situation improves and apply for a spouse visa for your wife.

Thanks Casa and Smarter much appreciated.

Okay I take your word I will wait to get things sorted on my ltd company then apply for the Visa.

Please Advise :

I have got all the required documents and I am good to go but one show stopper is my Ongoing Employment.
During my recent Company tax year I didn't do any trading since I had some funds left in my business account so I withdrawe a salary and dividend to meet the 18600 threshold.

Currently I am not trading but I receive a salary still through my ltd company If I apply for the spouse settlement visa now will that be an issue or during my application can I show that I got a contract would that be enough.
