Bringing my fiancee to Ireland

Post by IrishFiance » Tue Oct 24, 2017 8:11 pm

Hi guys,

Reading through the official Irish immigration website is a bit confusing and the way the information is spread out is a bit difficult to digest, so I wanted to ask some people that either know better than me or have been through this before.

My fiancee is a United States citizen and we have been together for four years, plenty of proof of the relationship in the form of tickets to see each other, chat logs with each other, pictures of us and with each of us with the others family etc. The part that I'm confused about is whether or not she has to declare to immigration at Dublin airport that she is coming to stay and marry her fiance (me), or whether she just goes through and we proceed to get married, then she applies for residency. (As in regards to this image - https://puu.sh/y6bSX/310ec01f14.png)

I would greatly appreciate any advice or help, thanks.
