Any advice on what to do?
Online system say decided on 9 Oct but not received anything and the customer service can't help because it is still within 6 months. UKVI is soooo useless its unbelievable.

Call Telephone: 00 44 203 481 1736
Monday to Friday, 24 hours
Calls cost £1.37 per minute on top of your standard network charges.
Ask them not to tell you what the decision is (they will not tell you) but just to check whether the status on the online checking tool is correct.
OR
If more than 10 working days have passed phone
Telephone: 0300 123 2253
Monday to Thursday, 9am to 4:45pm
Friday, 9am to 4:30pm
They will not be able to tell you what the decision or the status is but will escalate to HO and then HO will contact you (apparently).
I am still waiting but since it has only been 8 working days I cannot do the escalation.
Good luck, let us know what they say

Thanks
I did try the second option you mentioned but they were not helpful. They said would do a referral but I simply got an email back saying its within the 6 months period so can't do anything...
Thing is, am worried is lost the post. Everyone else seem to be working fine and I can see on the timeline that people typically receive it within a few days of it saying "Decided on..." and also July applications have received their cards.
Will try option 1 today - thanks again

hi again
you have to enter your card number before you can speak to them? Strange.
Is there no other way to get in touch with them to enquire about lost documents etc?

I sent them an email (you can get it from the link on the online status tool).
Finally got a proper response with Royal Mail tracking number.
My status changed to decided on 18/10 but they only sent the documents on the 26/10!!!
It takes 3 working days for 2nd class mail to arrive so it should get here today or tomorrow.
Actually all staff I dealt with were super nice. Let's hope now they made a positive decision.

Decided status change does not mean they sent the documents, it just means they decided on 22.10. In my case it took 8 days from when it changed to Decided until they actually sent the letter.
I still haven't received my letter but I think it has to come tomorrow as it will be fourth day since sent and 2nd class takes up to three working days.

Got my paperwork and my purple card today 01.11. after almost 4 months from date of applying. The online status changed to Decided on 18.10. but they only sent the docs on 26.10. and I only got them now.
For me the stress is over but wish you all best of luck and as little stress as possible!

I received my pr and all our documents today , but the online status still shows "awaiting decision ".It is very misleading indeed.
