Confused

Post by adilzia » Thu Oct 26, 2017 5:18 pm

Hello members

Any one gone through this situation

My online status updated as decided on 16.10.2017 till today i haven't receive any decision letter.
Few days ago i contacted HO phone number and Guy confirmed that decision has been made and wait for decision.
Today i contact MP and he gave me update that HO sent them email regarding my application on 24.10.2017.And they will take more time because of complex issues.

I am totaly confused and worried.
I don't know who is right
Any advise plz

contact UKVI on the phone and provide them the information your MP has provided you and take it from there.

Thanks for your reply guys
One more thing i am curious about

Zimba as you always say IHS refund means nothing

But on the UKVI site it shows

5. Refunds

You don’t need to do anything to get an IHS refund - it’s automatically paid to the account or card you paid with.

You’ll get a full IHS refund if:

you paid twice
your visa application is refused
you withdraw your visa application
You’ll get a partial IHS refund if your visa application’s successful but:

you get less time on your visa than you asked for
any dependants on your visa application are refused
You won’t get a refund if:

your visa application is successful but you don’t come to the UK.

And any body reported here that he/she got partial refund and got refused ???

Sadly, yes. Don't like to share negative news, but there was one case.
If you want, I can find the thread for you, though I can't imagine it being helpful as such.
There was a member who got partial refund and was turned down. He later went for JR (I think, not sure), and he ultimately got the visa after a long struggle.

There were two threads. Posting both below. One has details about HO's decision and the other one is about receiving a partial refund yet being turned down.

^^Yes, unfortunately, it's a difficult situation to be in.
I hope you hear positive news soon.
Also, just want to add that partial refund usually means good news.

Were there any cases when the applicant got the full refund ? I went through so many cases here and it seems that in both cases (refusal or approval) all applicants are getting the partial refund. Let me know if I am wrong. Thanks.

Yes, there were people who got full refunds before or after receiving the letters.

My HO status was showing as 'Awaiting a decision' with date of last updated 20 April 2017 in the morning.

Checked in the evening, its still showing as 'Awaiting a decision' but they removed the date (20 April 2017).

Has anyone observed the same or they treating me in 007 mode first giving partial refund, and then removing date of 'last updated'.
