Hello All,
First of all,may I appreciate how this forum have been very useful in dealing with all my applications over the past years.I have made successful, non EEA family member residence card application, registered our daughter as a British national whom is now 5 years old and also EEA permanent residence card application.I must admit that forum has been of great help.
Now I am faced with a little bit of a predicament.I was hoping I could use as many help as I can get this time.I got married to my wife whom is an EEA national ( Polish ) on the 01/08/12 and shortly afterwards,I was granted a residence card on the 16/02/13.We applied for my wife ( she has been exercising her treaty right since she arrived in the U.K in 2007 through employment ) a DCPR to confirm her permanent residence in the UK which she was granted on the 16/01/2015.
Unfortunately my wife lost her job due to the company she works for going into validation on the 08/08/16,although she had a notice period until 12/09/16..She didn't get another job until 10/04/17.
Now,I am in the process of making my own application for a permanent residence,I intend to apply next month even though my RC doesn't expire till 16/02/18.Is this too early ? I am a little bit worried that the gap my wife had in her employment which is about 7 months might affect my application one way or the other even though she acquired DCPR in January 2015.
And SEC 9 of the form where is says this :If you have answered yes to question 9.3, you do not have to complete the rest of this section – go straight to section 16 instead. However, we reserve the right to ask you for more information if necessary.Does this mean I do not have to send my wife's employment history again along with my supporting document since she has acquired DCPR?
Please I need all the help I can get before I make this application.I need to know if I stand a good chance before proceeding with my application. Many thanks in advance.
Kind Regards
