Hello,

I was wondering if anyone with insight into this Issue can help me. My BRP for my ILR expired about 4 months ago and I had thought I renewed it through my lawyer but turns out he didn't know what he was doing and only completed the application for a travel document. That has arrived but I am currently sitting with an expired BRP. I intent to send an application to renew it this week but I am not sure of the consequence because of the delay. I've had ILR since 2013 but could this mean it will be revoked? PLEASE HELP.

Your ILR card simply has an expiry date but your ILR status will not change. You simply need to replace the old card and get a new BRP card
