BRP card return to home office . Why they send another letter for brp return. ?

Hi All,

I did returned my brp card to Bristol BS20 1BT via recorded royal mail and I have proof / receipt etc. Now they sent letter asking my brp card returns, I'm confused.
Is something shame, scam or mis communication among home office departments ? Anyone faced same situation please share with me .

Just send them back the proof of postage (copy only) along with the copy of letter that you have received.

thanks mate. strange things.. they sent letter to my old address and then over written new address, sent same letter this week. and now they sent civil penality letter.

sad part is I work monday to friday away from home and I saw letter friday night and saturday morning receiving penality letter. HO is faster to collect money rather then waiting for reply. very sad.

should I write to my local MP or any watchdog ?

any thoughts. ?

You dont have to as long as you have proof of postage. Send them the proof and then wait what they say.

Hi, what exactly was stated in the penalty letter? Did you record the delivery so that you can use royal mail checking service to confirm delivery?

today I will call and explain to them since they work only Mon - Fri

I called and discussed.

they asked me send postal receipt / tracking id. All done and waiting for their reply.
