Information about Spouse Visa Refused

Hi I have applied for a marriage civil partner visa thought it was a fiancée visa I got a message from the NEYOZVisaInfo@fco.gov.uk that my visa was unsuccessful i called the uk immigration service and they are seeing on there end tha a decision was not made a solicitor to help us he help us with our application so we are now sad why such a choice was made. How can we appeal this decision?
