Switching from Tier1 Entrepreneur to Tier2 General

Post by le01978 » Mon Oct 30, 2017 8:42 pm

Hi – I have query related to switching from Tier1 Entrepreneur to Tier2 General Visa. Your help/inputs are much appreciated

• I was on Tier1 Entrepreneur visa (200K) visa from Feb’14
• I switched from Ter1 visa to Tier2 General Visa on Wednesday 19th Jul’17. I appeared for one day visa and got the visa on the same day
• I resigned from the existing company as a director on Monday 24th Jul’17. My Employment start date with Tier2 sponsored company is on Monday 24th Jul’17 as well. (My accountant wrongly filed my resignation with HMRC and there is no option to correct/retrospectively change the date to Friday 21st July).

My questions are,
• With the above scenario, will have any impact when I go for ILR?
• Does home office look into any of my Tier1 and consider any of these dates while I appear for ILR?
• Will it be any problem if I get any income to my company where I was director after Wednesday 19th Jul’17? (Though I got a visa on Wednesday 19th Jul’17 by virtue of attending on same day but my offer of employment only started from Monday 24th Jul’17.)

My sponsoring company and accountant suggest it will be not a problem. However, I want to get your expert opinion for my own piece of mind.
