90 days validity of Naturalization approval letter?

Hi All,
I have received Citizenship Invitation letter on 17th Oct 2017 which is dated 12th Oct 2017.

As per 90 days rule, ceremony can take place anytime between 12th Jan 2018 depending upon dates available in council.

When I have approached council office, they have informed me to get ceremony done before 29th Dec 2017. Council officer informed me that they have received letter on 29th Sept and hence 29th Dec 2017 will be final

I have typical business travel plans during Nov and Dec 2017 which doesn't fit timelines shared by council.

Again during Dec 2017, I have planned 3 weeks trip vacation mainly due for medical treatments planed for close family member.

I have dropped mail to citizenship.support@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk with necessary details 3/4 days back but haven't received any reply.

Kindly advise what should be done in this situation.

Arrange a private ceremony with the council to suit your schedule - additional fee payable (around £150?).
