DVLA penalty - Debt collection

Post by babygirl » Sun Nov 05, 2017 7:00 pm

Hi,

We are going to apply for our British Citizenship.
However we just got a letter from debt collection agency for £80 for not sorn a vehicle.
My husband completely forgot as we are going through a rough time - i.e. my pregnancy and office workloads.

He has sorn the vehicle as soon as we read the letter today. The penatly letter was sent in Aug or so which we were not aware of.

We will be making the payment tomorrow first thing to the debt collection agency.
Can someone please tell us if this is going to cause issues for our citizenship application?

Thanks

Is not a problem - you are dealing with the issue and clearing the debt.

Send evidence that you've dealt with it.
