Tier 2 General - Salary Increment

Dear all,
Need a advice about Tier 2 (gen) visa issues inside UK ( unrestricted CoS).
In my Cos my title mentioned Developer and salary 39K . After 4 months I got promoted to
Lead Senior Developer and salary 48k. Note : both position comes under same SOC Code.
1) Do I need to apply for new tier 2 application due to Salary mentioned in RMLT cross new salary
even if my CoS is unrestricted .
2) What if employer updated SMS after 8 months , will SMS allow to update as per guidance this supposed to be done by 10 working days.
