Post dated EC queries

Post by richie_rohan » Wed Mar 05, 2008 10:23 am

Hi Guys!
I have applied for my EC on 27 Feb 2008 and I have entered planned date of travel as somewhere in Mid april.

1) I forgot to mention in the covering letter that I want EC starting from Mid April. Can I pass this infromation?

2) What is a time frame in which I am suppose to travel once I get my EC stamped? And in initial 2 - 3 years what is the amount of time I can stay outside UK i.e. vacation or dont travel after EC is stamped?

Please let me know the details if someone has any.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
Richie

Try mailing them abt teh additional information to Chennai.VisaEnquiry@fco.gov.uk.

After you get the EC, you can travel any time before it expires. however, the sooner u travel, the better, as it will give enough time for you to qualify ur self for FLR.
