Forename Surname confusion in AN.....kindly help

Hi,

I have a query which has probably been asked couple of times here but couldnt see a closure to the issue. Hence thought of repeating. Hope to see some advise from this community as always.

So my issue is that I do not have a surname in my Indian Passport . All the name is mentioned in the Given Names section, lets say Vikram Virat. So the Indian passport has:
Surname:
Given Names: Vikram Virat

Now in the British Passport AN form I will be leaving the Surname field blank and entering "Vikram Virat" in the given names section. From previous Link british-citizenship/no-surname-in-india ... l#p1357045 in the forum I have found that if such an application is made the British passport will have "XXX" in the Forename and "Vikram Virat" as surname.
I am fine with that as long as it doesnt cause an issue with the OCI card application process or travel, ticket bookings etc

What I couldnt understand from previous discussions is whether people who had an XXX in their Name in the British Passport face any issue in their OCI card application or during travel, flights etc.
