child tax credit and child benefit

Hello, can we claim child benefits and child tax credit without affecting future application for ILR.
I am chilean with two children chilean too. We have resident card for 5 years as a family members of an EU National (my husband).
I am asking because it is suppouse we can not recure to public funds.
