Visiting India.

Hi,

I am a UK resident ( holding Indian passport and have a Indefinite leave to remain since 2002)

My question is I would like to go to India for 12-15 months. Is there any problem arise with my NRI status. How long can I stay in India? google search saying I can stay only 182 days in India.

Please help if anyone knows regarding this.

Sounds like a question regarding Indian rules about NRI status rather than anything to do with ILR. Perhaps better answered in the Other Countries forum. Can the mods make the thread appropriately?
