Serious BRP replacement quiry

Hello, I am Uni student in UK(3rd year).
I have serious issue with my BRP.
Let me tell you guys how my situation is.
I lost my BRP card in November 2016 and applied for replacement in Feburary after I got warning from Home office that I must do this in 10 days.
And My application was unsuccessful due to lack of document in May 2017.
I am now in UK and getting nervous if deportation letter comes. I haven't report my loss to Police at the point i lost it and until now. And I haven't got any notification from Home office until now. Its November 2017.
Can you guys advise me what i should act asap?

Make an appointment with the international student adviser at your university so they can advise on your options, and if necessary liaise with the Home Office on your behalf.

I don't understand why you waited 3 months to apply for a replacement, or why you have never re-applied after the first application was unsuccessful 6 months ago, or why you are expecting a "deportation letter" but the adviser should be able to help you move forward.
