Help with confusion - Spouse visa application

Post by Hasnain90 » Thu Nov 09, 2017 2:06 pm

Hello,

I am new here and wanted to ask if anyone can guide on the following concern i had.

I have applied for my wife (in pakistan) for her spouse visa. The payment has been made, she has submitted her biometrics and passport and now i am in the process of sending all the supporting documents to Sheffield.

I was going to send a printout of the online application (initial one made) on top of all documents, as per the UK decision centre email we got today.

But just noticed I will have the unsigned application form, as its just a pdf download from the online portal. My wife did submit the actual form in Islamabad this week, which she signed and dated.

Now, do i just send the unsigned one (its the same and they already took the signed one in islamabad) or do i ask her to sign another one and scan it to me and i send that one then?

Many thanks for your help!

the application from needs to be signed and original. A scan will not be sufficient

Thanks for your reply.

But the original one was submitted to the Visa centre in Islamabad

this one i am asking about is the one to be sent along with supporting documents, i am sure it makes sense to send them a printed version of the completed form (which has all the references, and payment conf on it)

Do you mean that the applicant (wife in pakistan) signs a form and sends it to me by courier here and then i send all the documents over to Sheffield, im sure thats not the most quickest way

Thanks in advance

it isn't but the form needs to be original hence her signature needs to be on it

Thankyou.

I have an official list (issued by UKVI) of documents that need to be submitted, this was posted on a notice board at the visa centre in islamabad, and it said;

1. The GWF ref no. provided
2. One printed copy of the application form and photo
3.......

So as per their list, its a copy of the printed form, i'm pretty sure i am stressing out on this too much and should just send the form as it is (including a scan of the pages signed by applicant), as end of day its all printed hence no real pen ink on it.

Hope it doesn't cause any problems.

Thanks Anyway
