Qualifying Period for ILR

Hi All,

I have been in UK on work permit since Nov 2003. I am eligible for ILR in Nov 2008. My current Work permit is valid till March 2009.

As I will complete 5 years in Nov 08 and my WP is valid until Mar09, is it possible for me to apply for ILR(Permanent Residence), in case I could get a letter from my company that I have valid visa till Mar09.

Hi,

You must not send your application to HO more than 28 days before the end of your 5years qualifying period and also submit recent document(s) from your employer named in your work permit confirming that you are still needed and that your employment with them is continuing.
