PBS Dependent Extension_Standard Service Timelines

Hello friends,

I would like to know the timelines for PBS Dependent Extension application (Tier-2) via Standard Service.

Online it says, 8 weeks but not sure what is it in real time.

Also, as the premium service is double the cost than standard service so does it have any advantage other than same day service.
