How old is the parent? How old is the settled person?

Be aware that unless the settled person is a child, it is practically impossible (78% chance of failure after appeals) to get an Adult Dependent Relative visa.

The parents also have to meet very stringent care requirements. They have to prove that
a) they need help with everyday basic needs, such as washing and bathing
b) such help is either unaffordable or unavailable in their home country.

Given that most countries (such as the ones in the Subcontinent) have cheaper care available, it leads to almost certain rejection.

@Hussain0514 I have split your post from the other member's thread which you had tagged your question onto. It's not only unfair, but also causes confusion.

Please continue in this thread.
