Wife Mother's surname incorrect in application

Hi,

Recently applied for tier2 visa for me, my wife who has applied for dependent visa has different mother's surname on her old and new passport. Its just a letter different its "debi" in one and "devi" in another, in application we have mentioned name what was there on old passport.

Will this be a issue? If yes what could we do?
