FLR - APPEAL

Post by debmay » Sat Nov 11, 2017 3:55 pm

Hello, I have today checked my visa status, and it says 'decided', letter on it's way with decision.
My nerves as frazzled today, and I know I should be thinking positive.

Could someone please tell me under which circumstances would I NOT be allowed to appeal in the event of
my visa being denied?

I am currently, and have been in the UK for 10 years. I don't want to have to leave, my daughter, partner, and 3 grandchildren are here.

If I am denied, can I appeal, or will it be better to re-apply, and if so, can I do that from within the UK?

Many thanks in advance for your kind replies.

In addition to New on Forum's question, what is your immigration history during your 10 years in the UK. How long have you lived with your partner?

Hello, and thank you for your questions.
My partner has permanant leave to remain, we have been together for 17 years, during which I worked in
Southern Ireland on a work visa, then came to live in the UK, as I had grandchildren born here.
My daughter is in the UK, she has leave to remain, and has 3 british born children with her partner.
I was not legal here, and was picked up by immigration last July, after which I sent in a application for Family leave to remain.
Both my daughter and my partner are South African, with permanent leave to remain in the UK.
