Travel after British Citizenship Ceremony

Hi
I had British Citizenship Ceremony last week and got the certificate. I am about to apply for the British Passport but i will going to travel before applying the passport. I have already booked the tickets and hotels.
I like to ask can i travel with my old Oversea British passport? Can i use my certificate and old passport in the immigration desk to come in uk?
