English Language & TB Test

Post by dipyaman » Mon Nov 13, 2017 6:50 pm

Hi,

My wife is currently living in UK as Tier 2 ICT dependant (Entered UK on. She has been working in one of the top hospitals of UK as a Biomedical Scientist. She holds a master degree in Microbiology and her medium of education has all the way been english. She has 4yrs of experience working in UK. Recently she's been offered a job with a Tier 2 General Sponsorship.

1. Does she still need to give an english test (IELTS). Her employer has already issued her the COS?
Now we are planning to apply for her visa from India.

2. Her employer already did her occupational health test which included a TB test. Does she once again need to
do a TB test in India. Can't she use the TB results from the occupational health test done in UK for visa
application purposes? FYI, In the last 4 years she had been in India twice and on both occasions she stayed
there no more than 3 weeks.

Can you please advise.

Regards,

DK
