Family In Ireland

Hi

I am new to this forum , i am hoping to get some advice on the following issue.
I started working here in Jan 2017 in nhs on tier 2 visa which expires in nov 2018.
My family lives in Ireland and my son is a Irish citizen , now i want to bring them to Uk and finally settle here.
Can i apply for an family card / Eu card here for me and my wife or simply apply for normal visa .Any help would be highly appreciated .
