T2 General - Dependant Maintenance

Hi all,

I have recently had my T2G change of employer with an A-rated sponsor and about to apply for my dependants.

The sponsor has already ticked the maintenance box on the COS but very reluctant to provide a letter to confirm that "because they haven't done it before!".

Question: 1. Do my dependants also have to provide a letter from the sponsor stating that they will maintain them, or just mention the point?
2. As I was already on a T2G before I change my employer I didn't have to show maintenance fund, will that be applicable to them as well as they're applying outside of the UK?
