47 days & Start Date

Post by Tier2_to_ILR » Thu Nov 16, 2017 10:11 pm

Hi All Senior Members,

There are lot of threads about 60days curtailment. I have one specific doubt

Sponsor 1
last date of work - 22 Oct 2016

Sponsor 2
Visa approved - 8 Dec 2016

47 days between last day of work & New Visa approval. Which looks fine
But work started with Sponsor 2 on 18 Jan 2017

(A) Last working day - New Visa approval - 47 days
(B) Last Working day - New Start Date - 88 days

Which is considered for ILR ----- (A) or (B)

Please help me with this information

The 60 days gap between switching employer is the last day with previous employer and date of apply with new sponsor. In your case its less than 60 days so you should be fine to apply ILR onfce you complete 5 yeras.

Thanks for your reply confirming that below (A) is considered for ILR

(A) Last working day - New Visa approval - 47 days
(B) Last Working day - New Start Date - 88 days
(C) New Visa approval date - New Start Date - 41 Days

Do you also know what is the maximum no of days allowed between New Visa approval date - New Start Date

That is not relevant. Only the last day of your employment and the day of your successful application is important for ILR period
