Acceptable Professional Referee - British Citizenship

Hi all,

I have come to the full year of having my permanent residency status, so now to apply for citizenship.

I have a friend of the family who is a Registered Vetinary Nurse. Can this be accepted as a professional referee, as he is a professional, it’s just not on the general list given on the home office website! I take it the list is just a general overview of acceptable referees?
