passport due to expire

Hi all,

I applied for EEA family permit in June this year. It has been nearly 6 months but the application is still being processed. I have contacted the Home Office several times with no positive responses.

The issue is that my passport is due to expire in April next year. Does that mean the new visa cannot cover a six months period because of this?

Also, I would like to change my address for the passport to be returned. What can I do?
