Name change in passport

Hi,
I am on dependent visa from Jan '13 onwards and due for ILR in Jan '18. I have recently (Aug '17) renewed my passport and changed my surname to my husband's name.

Please clarify:

Do I need to change/update my visa details or shall I go ahead with ILR application and can produce the letter to explain the name change. As it's just 4 months between the name change in passport and my due date for ILR application.
