Entering the UK after cancelling appeal

I'm a Brazilian in the UK. I applied for EEA family member and got rejected twice but sent an appeal which has a court date for 5th of March. If I was to leave UK now and go back to Portugal, would that cancel my appeal? And would I be allowed back into the UK again after the 5th of March to visit my mom who has a British Residency Card?
