ILR application

Post by Toliver » Sun Nov 19, 2017 12:24 am

I am trying to trace my application but all my documents are handled by an attorney, who does not want to give me any numbers to check the progress of my application. He says I must just wait. I have been waiting since last year February and getting very frustrated because I need to work and study. I only have my passport and I.D. number as I have sent everything to my attorney. How can I check my status of my ILR with my passport number if possible?

Do you have any documented evidence that your legal advisor has actually submitted an application?

How are you still in possession of your passport when this has to be submitted with your ILR application? I suggest that you submit a Subject Access Report (SAR) which will confirm the information the Home Office hold on your immigration history in the UK.

Please don't send me PMs asking for immigration advice on posts that are on the open forum. If I haven't responded there, it's because I don't have the answer. I'm a moderator, not a legal professional.
