Where to submit evidence (greeting cards) for fiance visa?

I will be applying for a fiance visa within a few months to bring my partner from India to the UK. Over the past year i have sent her many cards like birthday, Eid, valentines. We will be making the application from the UK. I would like to know if my partner has to send the cards i sent her back to me so i can submit them with the application to Sheffield or will she have submit them in India?

You cannot submit a fiance visa application from inside of the UK.

It is my understanding that i can. I have spoken to a solicitor about this and know many people who have successfully done this. The application is done from the UK and the partner then goes for the biometrics in India. The application is done online. If im wrong please let me know.
