Visa status of spouse and kid after my ILR

Post by deepak22 » Fri Nov 24, 2017 12:17 am

Hi,

I am on long term tier-2 ICT. My wife and kid are on my tier-2 ICT dependent visa. All of us are eligible to apply for ILR.

However due to some personal emergency I am only applying for ILR next week. My question is what will happen to their tier-2 ICT dependent visa status once I obtain my ILR ? The tier-2 ICT visa current validity is till mid Feb. Can they continue staying in UK as per their Tier-2 dependent till tha time even if I convert to ILR or they have to leave as soon as I convert to ILR ? Is there a grace period for them to stay in the UK ?

I checked with home office but did not get any satisfactory answer.

Need answer asap please.

Tier 2 ICT holders are not normally eligible for ILR. What is the basis of your ILR application?

When (specific date if in the first half of 2010) was the first application for Tier 2 ICT made (i.e. what is the date of application, not date of visa)?

What is your entire immigration history in the UK? Likewise, for your spouse.
