Change of Contact Details

Good Afternoon Everyone.

Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with changing contact details 'mid-application'? We applied on 21 March 2017 but recently my wife has changed her phone number due to nuisance calls from competing mobile phone service providers.

Does anybody know who to contact to change the phone number on her application and whether this will impact us in terms of waiting? Her mum's number is listed as the secondary contact number and obviously mine is present as the sponsor. We're now at 8 months of waiting and we'd rather not do anything that could have a further impact on our waiting. Her local VFS office have her email address and new number.
