VFS Sylhet

Has anyone dealth with VFS centre in Bangladesh / Sylhet recently?

I want to double check the process ( I have read many posts, guidelines from VFS pdf)

Applicant at VFS centre:
-Enters the centre showing Passport as a form of ID
-Shows appointment letter
-Has bio taken
-Submits passport(s) ONLY?

Sponsor from UK:
-Sends all supporting documents to Sheffield
-Printed copy of application + Appendix 2 submitted posted also to Sheffield.

The bit that confuses me, if you / agent is filling in the form in behalf of spouse, how can the spouse sign the form then have the sponsor submit it to Sheffield, if that makes sense. Thanks
