Anyone received visa after Home Office visted the office and after how long ?

I had Home office visit 2 months ago and no reply. Is it true that they refuse if it's too long ?

Got my visa approved today. Interview @ office on 20th Sep 17. Applied at the end of Feb 17.

I did not chase them at all.

and I applied by myself. No solicitor was involved. I did not sent any email or letter other than what the Compliance Officer asked me to send after the interview (Last 6 months Business statments, One employees random pay slip hours, and last three invoices for a few clients)
