Police charges while application pending

Hi everyone my friend application is pending on basis of 2 British child and partner ilr submitted application jan 2017
Still what he's chances are after police charges on him no have visa just now overstayed for 9 years

Charge him for what, and what is the length of sentence he is looking at?

No sentence only in sex offender list and got fined

Visa is gonna be a small problem for him now.
He may be now forced out of family home and denied access to his children.

Being on the sex offenders register does not automatically precludes a person from working.

It all depends on the circumstances of the case.
