Tier 2 to Tier 4 - Do I need to stop working before I can apply?

Post by vivc » Mon Nov 27, 2017 11:11 pm

Not sure if anyone have also asked before.

I am currently on tier 2 visa and decided to pick up studying again. The course is going to start in April and I am not too sure when I am able to work till. I am aware that My employer will notify Home Office to stop my visa after 10 days of my leave.

Here comes the question - Am I allowed to apply for tier 4 visa while I am working still with my tier 2 visa? Do I need to actually leave my job first before applying for the new visa?

Would appreciate anyone advice.
