English Requirements - Further Leave FLR(M)

Post by bunnu23 » Tue Nov 28, 2017 11:45 pm

Hello,

July 2015, My Spouse was initially granted a 30 months leave on FLR (M). At the time she provided an evidence of 1 year old IELTS exam (Taken band 7.0 overall).
I'm in a process of applying her further leave to remain for 30 months and I realised that english requirements has changed and A2 level is now required.
I believe Homeoffice will not accept 3.5 years old IELTS exam. However About a month ago due to a job requirement , my spouse had to submit her bachlors degree to UK NARIC to compare against UK recognition. The letter which we received from UK NARIC says "The level of English language of your degree course is considered to meet the requirements of CEFR LEVEL B1"

Can you please advice me, is UKNARIC certificate good enough for extension of FLR(m) or my spouse must have to book a A2 exam (doesn't make sence) ??

Thanks a lot.
