Applying for ILR on Nov 2008

I am applying for ILR on Nov 2008 and my WP will expire on 2010. My daughter born here in UK in 2005 although she is currently in my country right now. If I apply for my ILR can I put her name on my application even she's not here or is she qualified to apply for british passport?

Another question pls. Someone advice me to apply in the HO for my ILR personally rather than by post, is there any difference or advantage if I apply personally in the HO? Another thing my friend told me If my application refuse I don't need to pay for it if go in the HO to apply?

Once you get ILR, you can use the form MN1 to register your daughter as British. Do look into the conditions if her absence changes anything, http://www.bia.homeoffice.gov.uk/britis ... shcitizen/
