Permission for Spouse of an Irish Citizen

Post by lingcl » Thu Nov 30, 2017 3:09 pm

Hi Everyone,
I have registered marriage with an Irish National Spouse on the 16th Nov in Copenhagen, we came to Ireland together on the 18th Nov, I got a stamp on my passport which stated PERMISSION TO REMAIN IN IRELAND UNTIL 18TH FEB 2018 FOR THE PURPOSE OF RE-REGISTER.

We went to Registration Office yesterday, the officer did not allow me to do any further application or re-registration due to their suspicious of my overstay on my student visa.

We have been knowing each other since 2015, our relationship is genuine.

May I know what shall we do with this situation? thanks
