Is remote work allowed under Tier 2 Visa

Hello Gurus,

I'm on Tier 2 visa and ILR is due Oct 2018.

I have blocked my holidays for 25 Days from Christmas till mid Jan 2018 to go to my country. Unfortunately I have emergency situation (my wife's father health is in serious condition) and requires me to travel immediately. So I have requested remote work from my company (since I have exhausted all my holidays for the year) till end this years.

Am I allowed to do remote work under Tier 2? Will I have problems when I apply for ILR?

How many days you'll work remotely?

that should be fine. When applying for ILR you'll need letter from employer from all the absesns from the UK either vacation or working remotely.
